So….I haven’t posted anything to my blog is 5 months, yikes! I’m definitely slacking on it and I have so many shoots I’m dying to get up here (and hopefully I will!).
I never announced on here or my photography facebook page that my husband and I are expecting out first child in just a few weeks, yay! We are super excited and have been busy the past few months getting ready for his (it’s a boy!) arrival in March.
I thought I’d kick off my blog again with the maternity photos I attempted to take of us a couple weeks ago. I would definitely recommend you hire me to take them 😉 and don’t attempt them yourself! I only wanted a couple and thought it be easy..haha. Ultimately, I just wanted something to document this time and after all, I am a photographer so I have to get them done, right?!! 😉
Thus, here is me at 35 weeks, with the hubs, and our animals (can’t forget them!)…
Caterina and John’s wedding took place on the beautiful island of Captiva at ‘Tween Waters Inn. There was a beautiful breeze coming off the gulf as this lovely Ohio couple recited their vows to each other in front of their friends and family. As clouds continued to roll in, we lucked out with only a drop of rain and ended up with some soft lighting and slightly cooler weather for a September wedding in Florida. Yay!
So, I had to finally break my silence on my blog (ah! haven’t been on here much this summer!) and share a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day and show off this incredibly adorable and photogenic couple. (swoon! 🙂 )
Congratulations Caterina and John… and go Bucks! 😉 More photos coming soon…
I’m super pumped I have the opportunity to display a bit of my fine art photography at the Beta Coffeehouse in Cody, Wyoming today! It’ll be up for the next three weeks so stop by, have an amazing cup of coffee and take a lookie! 🙂

To say that this wedding was beautiful would be an understatement! The whole day was absolutely gorgeous…not to mention a lot of fun too! Plus, the icing on the cake for me was talking Nicole and Aaron into doing MORE pictures on another day. This worked out great (maybe not so much for Aaron, you know how much guys LOVE taking photos 😉 ), we were able to capture their entire wedding day with ease and get a lot of variety.
I’m loving going through the photos from this wedding! I’m super late on getting them a sneak peek, but I have finally pulled out a few of my favs to post on here. 🙂
Allison and Joe had their ceremony and reception at the elegant Colony Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. They had a courtyard ceremony, wedding portraits by the golf course and water, and reception and dancing inside the country club.
I must add – I absolutely love Allison’s ring and her flowers (swooning!), gorgeous! Everything, really, from this wedding was beautiful. So here are a few wedding photos from their special day…
Congratulations Allison and Joe! Enjoy these and more coming soon!
Last Friday, we hopped on a boat and headed to North Captiva Island, Florida for Lynn and Kirk’s beach wedding. If you are looking for a private beach location for your wedding, North Captiva Island Club Resort definitely offers that! What a beautiful place for an tropical Florida wedding.
Lynn and Kirk couldn’t have been any cuter of a couple, so sweet…the camera definitely loved them! They had a beach ceremony and beachside cocktail hour before heading to the Island Club for a poolside reception. We did sneak out of the reception to take their sunset portraits. We had a beautiful sunset for photos, so here is a little sneak peek of those…I’m starting with my favorite one. 🙂 And, unlike most my weddings, this couple ended up in the pool before heading off to their honeymoon!
Congratulations Lynn and Kirk! We enjoyed photographing your fabulous day…more photos coming soon!
I’m just getting back to Wyoming from another trip to Florida and it is time to get this sneak peek up of this couple’s wedding photography!
Emily and Quincy tied the knot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April, on the beach, at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa. This couple was so sweet together, I truly enjoyed photographing their outside wedding and working with them to create some great wedding photos.
And I really love Emily’s color scheme…ORANGE! Perfect pop of color for a beach wedding. 🙂
Congratulations Emily and Quincy…more coming soon!
This couple made my job easy! Not only are they so incredible sweet together, they look like Barbie and Ken, but they were super comfortable posing in front of the camera for their engagement shoot.
I photographed them last month when I was back in Florida. We covered a lot of grounds in the River District of Fort Myers, FL capturing their engagement pictures. And we lucked out with some awesome natural lighting, thank you clouds! 🙂
It was hard to narrow down my favorites engagement photos to put up here, so warning..there’s a lot!
Congratulations, Jianna and Matt…looking forward to your wedding day! 🙂
I just got back from Florida, photographing Jill and Craig’s beach wedding at Sanibel Harbour. March weddings in Florida at the beach = perfection! 🙂 LOVE this time of year! The icing on the cake for me was this super sweet couple. From day one they have been wonderful to work with and get to know. On their wedding day, they were so relaxed and went with the flow on everything, which in turn made their day nice (no stress! or at least I saw none! 😉 ).
So here is a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day…enjoy!
Congratulations Jill and Craig! I enjoyed photographing your beautiful outdoor wedding…the rest of your photos are coming soon!
This little guy was absolutely adorable to photograph. It did take a little convincing, a lot of bribery, and a smidge of trickery (hee, hee) to get him to agree to taking some photos (wait a minute, my husband’s the same way…hmmmm), but in the end I feel as though we both won. 🙂 I got some cute kid portraits and he had a little fun (or at least I hope he did! haha).
The weather is a bit chilly right now in January here in Wyoming, so we did opt for the studio on this particular day. Thus, since we were in my studio, we had perfect lighting and the weather was ideal! 😉 (The benefit to studio portraits!)
And… I now think we can all agree that little boys clothes can be as cute as dressing up little girls…seriously LOVED all of Noah’s adorable little outfits. Such a little stud muffin, right?!
This one cracks me up…little boys don’t always want to be kissed by their mamas!
And here are the rest of my favs…enjoy this cutie’s expressions!
