I remember telling my mom when I was little that I wanted to be a babysitter when I grew up...well after taking this precious family's photos and spending time with their adorable baby boy, I remember why I wanted to!  So fun!  He was the perfect model and had plenty of cute little expressions.  Not sure that I'll quit my day job to follow that childhood dream (haha), but I do love getting some kiddo time :)

I've been dying to get these photos up here!  A couple weeks ago we photographed a surprise engagement proposal on Naples beach.  Geoff had called me months ago to let me know he and his girlfriend would be flying into town and he would be popping the question on the beach.  He was amazing with all the details and covered his tracks so well!  I had my doubts, I thought for sure Sarah would have some idea, but as you can see from the first photo, she was shocked!  My husband and I stood at a distance from them while Geoff got down on one knee and asked her the question.  All we could hear...

I have to give a shout out to Mindy with White Orchid Florals, I love her work!  She did all the flowers for my wedding.  When I met with her, I remember listing all the things I wanted...black feathers, peacock feathers, white flowers, brooches, damask material, etc.  I love details and probably too many elements, but she did such an amazing job and made it look so amazing!  We had a photoshoot last week, so we got to use a couple more of her beautiful bouquets (thank you Mindy!).  The first couple photos are of my bouquet, and yes I did have my camera handy at my wedding :) My kitty stopped...

I'm soooo excited to finally get to share the images from Stefanie and Keith's wedding.  I actually shot this wedding back in November, but since I got married that month and then there was the holidays and then life kept getting crazier...well, I just haven't gotten it up!  This was such a unique wedding, it was an intimate affair that took place at a small country chapel in Alva.  The church happened to be next to the old Alva Library, now museum, which made for a great backdrop (especially since this couple loves books!).  After the beautiful ceremony, the reception took place at the Veranda...

I'm dying to go on another trip!  I keep checking the local time in Germany because my parents are there right now visiting my brother.  It's about 11pm now, so they are probably asleep...after a long day of touring Heidelberg, the castles, the amazing food, the beer, everything.... I want to go!  I love traveling, I'll live off of rice and beans if that means I can go somewhere new at least once a year.  :) Last year as my husband (fiancé at the time) and I were deciding on honeymoon locations, Ireland ended up being at the top of both of our lists.  I always knew I wanted a November wedding...

I'm back!  I'm emerging from my cave of editing, scheduling,  and planning long enough to blog.  I had to post these photos...oh how I love the beach this time of year.  And to add to that love, I get lucky with this cute munchkin!  This little princess is at the age where she is copying everything you say...so fun!  And then when I saw her a week later, she remembered me...then pointed to my husband and asked "who's dat?"  Too cute!  To start out with her photos is one of my favs...

Whoa...it's Friday again!  Another crazy week but I have to get this hot couples engagement photos up here!  I met with Sarah and Brandon the very day they got engaged, talk about on the ball, haha!  They are such a sweet couple and was glad to hear they had a good time on the engagement shoot.  It is always good prep for the wedding day!  And I just have to say, I love Sarah's smile, its beautiful and she uses it all the time!  Congratulations Sarah and Brandon, I can't wait for your wedding day!!!

I can't believe it is already Friday afternoon!  It has been another crazy week of editing, shoots and album design...and none of my projects are quite blog ready.  So before I start packing up my equipment for the weekend, I felt the need to put something up here!   I think I will introduce you to my little helper.  She's technically my husband's dog, Baylie, but ever since we started dating, Baylie prefers me :)  She follows me around everywhere, sits smack dab next to me (even while my husband is on the other end of the couch begging her to come sit by him!) and gives kisses away a bit too freely...

Here's Rachel and Willie...or should I say Barbie and Ken? Such a beautiful couple, we had so much fun in downtown Fort Myers capturing these images. I loved the props Rachel brought too...since her husband is a baseball player it seemed appropriate to include some baseball gloves and ball.  And the frame with there special dates...I love this idea whether you include it in a photo or not!  She told me she saw the idea on Pinterest. Mind you I have been holding out for a long time on not joining Pinterest only because everyone tells me that they spend hours on there...I don't have hours to do that! ...
