Here's some food photography I did recently. The background took forever to set up, but I really enjoyed working on it! It was funny the items I used to get that background effect ;) I'm not going to tell you though!

Again, yet another lovely couple! I so enjoy what I do because I get to work with so many nice couples on one of the most special days of their lives. I'm so lucky! Amy and Erik had a church ceremony and then their reception at the Lexington Country Club. Anna Richardson (www.luciapauldesign.com) was the event planner - always makes the day go smooth! Cheers to the happy couple!

Just last year around the holidays I did a portrait sitting at the beach with Chris and Kim (some of these photos are on my website) and now not even a year later I had the priviledge of photographing their new baby girl. Of course she didn't enjoy the sitting all that much, but we managed to get a few! I'm looking forward to her next portrait sitting!

This sitting was really special! I've known Lyndsey and Jim for over five years now (they just celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary last month!). I started out doing their engagements photos, then Lyndsey's bridal portraits, then their wedding, then a couple years ago we did a family photo with Jim, Lyndsey and their dog Maggie, and about 2 years ago I did Jim's sister's wedding. This fall I had the pleasure of photographing their son, Blake for his one year old portraits! What a cutie, as you can see!

I always enjoy photographing weddings at my home church, so this wedding was a blast! Kayla and Jordan are such a sweet couple and were so willing to take me up on some different locations around the church. We used a very contemporary/urban site for the pre-ceremony photos...I especially loved Kayla's bridal portraits. Then even after the reception I was able to convince them to go to one more location and get some outside romantic shots! In the summer time here in Florida, it is so hard to even think about doing photos outside, but I always highly recommend them...it gives your wedding album...

I just got back a couple days ago from South Africa where my goal was to get some good photos of zebras. So yesterday my sweet, little Hungarian friend brought me a cake....a zebra cake! I love anything and everything zebra and I had told my friend that one day I want a zebra cake for my birthday, wedding or whatever, but definitely a zebra cake! I had to take a picture of it and put it up here, she did such a great job...and not only does it look fantastic but it tastes AMAZING! And yes...I will eat the whole cake by myself, probably by the end of today :-D One more thing...if you are looking...

So this wedding is really special to me since it is my cousin, Brett and his new lovely wife, Liz. They are so sweet together! The wedding took place in Kaukauna, Wisconsin at this gorgeous Catholic church. After the ceremony we spend a good part of the afternoon in a nearby state park doing the rest of the photos. Great locations!

Chelsea was such a sweetheart! While vacationing down here, I had the opportunity to do her senior photos at Bowditch Beach (one of my favorite beaches). And despite a bit of rain, we ended up having perfect, soft lighting.
