best photographer in fort myers

Last Friday, we hopped on a boat and headed to North Captiva Island, Florida for Lynn and Kirk's beach wedding.  If you are looking for a private beach location for your wedding, North Captiva Island Club Resort definitely offers that!  What a beautiful place for an tropical Florida wedding. This couple made my job easy! Not only are they so incredible sweet together, they look like Barbie and Ken, but they were super comfortable posing in front of the camera for their engagement shoot. I photographed them last month when I was back in Florida. We covered a lot of grounds in the River District of Fort Myers, FL capturing their engagement pictures.  And we lucked out with some awesome natural lighting, thank you clouds! :) It was hard to narrow down my favorites engagement photos to put up here, so warning..there's a lot! We are currently enjoying PERFECT beach wedding weather here in Southwest Florida!  Tricia and Kris had their ceremony on the Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa with their reception immediately following in the Island Room. I don't think this couple could be any sweeter!  I thoroughly enjoyed spending the entire day with them all the while photographing each beautiful moment of their wedding. This sweet little angel totally made my day!  I had the opportunity to photograph this newborn at 8 days old (or should I say 8 days new?).  And from putting on her first tutu throughout the entire shoot she was a the perfect model! Typically with babies at this age, we plan to do all sleeping poses and those are usually my favorite, but....I think this one is my favorite. :) See what I mean?  Such a poser already! {swooning!} This one cracks me up...so much tulle with those little, tiny baby feet! Here's a little sneak peek of Chris and Dana's wedding that took place at the Plantation Golf and Country Club.  Dana had expressed their desires for a fun day, a true celebration.  They opted for a First Look and saw each other before the ceremony. This wedding was so fun for me.  From my first conversation with Natalie, I was so thrilled with the emphasis she placed on her wedding photographs.  She wanted artistic wedding portraits and gave me free reign (yay!).  So as we planned out the day, we packed in plenty of time to cover all the stylish photos I had in mind.  Natalie and Walter were so easy to photograph, not only because they were so in love, but also because they were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed perfectly with ease. :) I love all the unique details Natalie included.  Her gorgeous engagement ring, a ruby...

Bright colors for a beach wedding = my favorite!  I love the color palette Virginia chose for her wedding, coral and teal...gorgeous!  Virginia and Jesse planned their destination wedding (for them!) to be at Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa on Fort Myer Beach.  Great location, great staff and as always a perfect sunset over the water!
