This sweet little angel totally made my day!  I had the opportunity to photograph this newborn at 8 days old (or should I say 8 days new?).  And from putting on her first tutu throughout the entire shoot she was a the perfect model! Typically with babies at this age, we plan to do all sleeping poses and those are usually my favorite, but....I think this one is my favorite. :) See what I mean?  Such a poser already! {swooning!} This one cracks me up...so much tulle with those little, tiny baby feet! Congratulations to Lavery's mommy and daddy!  Your little girl is absolutely...

And the world welcomes Spencer! We did all of Spencer's newborn portraits here at my studio...what a gem!  She slept like a little angel while we swapped out tutus, hats, and bows. :)  Lily (big sister) is so proud of her baby sister and was generous with hugs and kisses for her. Congratulations Jaime and Clay, love your two precious little girls! The many faces of Lily...she cracks me up! I'm pretty sure she was smiling because she loves being photographed! ;)

A big congratulations to Valerie and Greg on their new baby girl! We roughed the humidity (and noseeums!) at Lighthouse Beach for some maternity portraits and wound up with a gorgeous sunset.  Then a couple months later we did Emmie's newborn session at my studio.  What a perfect baby girl, such a great model already!  So precious! I can't get over that hat...so adorable!

Here is a little series of portraits from my last three sessions with this lovely family.  We started out with a Christmas maternity session at Koreshan State Park.  A couple months later I got a few quick shots at the hospital after Baby Girl #2 was born!  A week after that, beautiful baby Elise came in for her portraits and then when she was two months we got the whole family together (or at least at my studio at the same time :) ). I absolutely love seeing families grow...just six years ago we were taking their engagement portraits and here they are now with two gorgeous girls.  Congratulations...

The weekend is here!  I can't believe how fast this summer is flying by and my goal of catching up on blogging isn't happening! Ahh!  But is has been nice to catch up on editing, albums and cleaning my office :)  Before I take off for the weekend I have to post this little sugar plum's portrait up here.  Payton was an angel to photograph, slept perfectly...such a poser!
