Engagement Portraits | Wyoming Wedding Photographer

As wedding season out here in the west is quickly approaching (despite the forecast of snow tonight!), I’m am looking forward to this beautiful couples big day in July.  I loved being able to spend some time with them last summer and capture their engagement photos here in Clark, WY in the Clarks Fork Canyon.  We lucked out with some perfect weather (little wind, yay!) and of course some gorgeous landscapes.  But ultimately, it was this lovely couple that made the engagement pictures beautiful! 🙂

Here’s a few of my favs…

Caterina + John, Captiva Island Wedding

Caterina and John’s wedding took place on the beautiful island of Captiva at ‘Tween Waters Inn.  There was a beautiful breeze coming off the gulf as this lovely Ohio couple recited their vows to each other in front of their friends and family.  As clouds continued to roll in, we lucked out with only a drop of rain and ended up with some soft lighting and slightly cooler weather for a September wedding in Florida. Yay!

So, I had to finally break my silence on my blog (ah! haven’t been on here much this summer!) and share a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day and show off this incredibly adorable and photogenic couple. (swoon! 🙂 )

Congratulations Caterina and John… and go Bucks! 😉 More photos coming soon…

Nicole + Aaron, Wyoming Ranch Wedding

To say that this wedding was beautiful would be an understatement!  The whole day was absolutely gorgeous…not to mention a lot of fun too!  Plus, the icing on the cake for me was talking Nicole and Aaron into doing MORE pictures on another day.  This worked out great (maybe not so much for Aaron, you know how much guys LOVE taking photos 😉 ), we were able to capture their entire wedding day with ease and get a lot of variety.

This country-ranch wedding took place on some beautiful property in Clark, WY with the Beartooth Mountain Range as our backdrop. LOVE!  We also utilized Clarks Fork Canyon for some more scenic wedding photos.

Here is a sneak peek of their wedding portraits.  Congratulations Nicole and Aaron…lots more coming soon!

Allison + Joseph, Bonita Springs Wedding

I’m loving going through the photos from this wedding!  I’m super late on getting them a sneak peek, but I have finally pulled out a few of my favs to post on here.  🙂

Allison and Joe had their ceremony and reception at the elegant Colony Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida.  They had a courtyard ceremony, wedding portraits by the golf course and water, and reception and dancing inside the country club.

I must add – I absolutely love Allison’s ring and her flowers (swooning!), gorgeous!  Everything, really, from this wedding was beautiful.  So here are a few wedding photos from their special day…

Lynn + Kirk, Captiva Beach Wedding

Last Friday, we hopped on a boat and headed to North Captiva Island, Florida for Lynn and Kirk’s beach wedding.  If you are looking for a private beach location for your wedding, North Captiva Island Club Resort definitely offers that!  What a beautiful place for an tropical Florida wedding.

Lynn and Kirk couldn’t have been any cuter of a couple, so sweet…the camera definitely loved them!  They had a beach ceremony and beachside cocktail hour before heading to the Island Club for a poolside reception.  We did sneak out of the reception to take their sunset portraits.  We had a beautiful sunset for photos, so here is a little sneak peek of those…I’m starting with my favorite one. 🙂  And, unlike most my weddings, this couple ended up in the pool before heading off to their honeymoon!

Emily + Quincy | Beach Wedding Photography

I’m just getting back to Wyoming from another trip to Florida and it is time to get this sneak peek up of this couple’s wedding photography!

Emily and Quincy tied the knot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April, on the beach, at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa.  This couple was so sweet together, I truly enjoyed photographing their outside wedding and working with them to create some great wedding photos.

And I really love Emily’s color scheme…ORANGE!  Perfect pop of color for a beach wedding. 🙂

Congratulations Emily and Quincy…more coming soon!

Wyoming | Montana – Portrait and Wedding Photographer

So my husband and I have officially moved to northwest Wyoming!  I’ve been out here about a month, getting us moved into our new place and getting the lay of the land.  I must say, I’m in love.  It’s amazing to walk out my front door and be surrounded by mountains.  A little different than Florida. 😉

(My husband and me in our front yard)

1(Our dog Baylie isn’t too excited about the scarf I made her wear, but despite that she does like it out here…my cat is another story)

I got a chance to announce it on my facebook page, but didn’t get to blog anything on here.  These past couple months have been so crazy and since the whole move happened so quickly, I’ve really only been concentrating on packing and unpacking.  My husband got a job working on a ranch out here and we decided it was an adventure we wanted to explore!  Plus, I have the best of both worlds, while I work on getting my wedding and portrait photography business started out here in Wyoming and Montana, I’ll still be coming back to Florida to photograph weddings and portraits.  Yay!

Here are a few photos from our start out here, the first one is one of my favorites…I love that I have a view of Heart Mountain from my office window!

2a4 4bSo my ever-so-thoughtful mother bought us an oh-so-sweet gift to help us “fit in with the locals!”  A nice camera belt buckle for me and a Buckeyes one for my husband!  haha…oh my!  We were going to sport them for our photo but we need to get the right belt. 😉

5So in addition to doing some four-wheeling, we’ve also got to go check out some hiking trails…absolutely breath-taking views!

86I’m excited to get my wedding and portrait photography business up and running here in Wyoming and Montana.  Whether you are planning your wedding or family portraits out west or in southwest Florida, I’d love to be your photographer!  Give me a call or visit my website. 🙂

Cheers!
