So my husband and I have officially moved to northwest Wyoming!  I've been out here about a month, getting us moved into our new place and getting the lay of the land.  I must say, I'm in love.  It's amazing to walk out my front door and be surrounded by mountains.  A little different than Florida. ;) (My husband and me in our front yard) (Our dog Baylie isn't too excited about the scarf I made her wear, but despite that she does like it out here...my cat is another story) I got a chance to announce it on my facebook page, but didn't get to blog anything on here.  These past couple months...

Samantha and Nicholas tied the knot at the Paseo in Fort Myers.  I love this location for weddings, such a different twist on country clubs and so many great photos ops!  ;) Their ceremony took place in the Village Center followed by dinner and dancing in the Bistro Dining Room.  Here's a quick peek of my favorites thus far... I was so excited to see this beautiful couple again!  I met them a couple years ago while they were on vacation, they weren't engaged yet but they told me they'd be back down to Florida to have a beach wedding one day.  And they did! :)  They had a beautiful, sunny beach ceremony at the Pink Shell Resort on Fort Myers Beach. Julia and Michael were the sweetest couple!  I so enjoyed getting to know Julia over the phone and was excited to finally meet her in person.  It was a destination wedding for them.  They had a lovely, intimate wedding with their close friends and family on Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa. I'm taking a brief intermission from editing to get this lovely couple's sneak peek up here... I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Jonas and Ada's wedding.  They came all the way from Norway to have a beautiful beach wedding here in Southwest Florida.  It was fun to see all their traditions with a little Florida feel to it!  I'm totally sold on visiting Norway now!  No surprise there though (must travel MORE!). I don't think this couple could be any sweeter!  I thoroughly enjoyed spending the entire day with them all the while photographing each beautiful moment of their wedding. Christie and Randy had a lovely ceremony at their local church, then headed to the River District (downtown Fort Myers) for their reception at Legacy Harbour.  Here's a quick little sneak peek of their day.... This was a beautiful and intimate wedding I photographed last week.  Karly and Brandon tied the knot on Cove Beach at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa.  And before they jumped onto the Sanibel Princess Cruise for their reception, we were able to go to some of my favorite spots on the property for some great bridal portraits! Here's a little sneak peek of Chris and Dana's wedding that took place at the Plantation Golf and Country Club.  Dana had expressed their desires for a fun day, a true celebration.  They opted for a First Look and saw each other before the ceremony. This wedding was so fun for me.  From my first conversation with Natalie, I was so thrilled with the emphasis she placed on her wedding photographs.  She wanted artistic wedding portraits and gave me free reign (yay!).  So as we planned out the day, we packed in plenty of time to cover all the stylish photos I had in mind.  Natalie and Walter were so easy to photograph, not only because they were so in love, but also because they were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed perfectly with ease. :) I love all the unique details Natalie included.  Her gorgeous engagement ring, a ruby...

Bright colors for a beach wedding = my favorite!  I love the color palette Virginia chose for her wedding, coral and teal...gorgeous!  Virginia and Jesse planned their destination wedding (for them!) to be at Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa on Fort Myer Beach.  Great location, great staff and as always a perfect sunset over the water!
