I was so excited to see this beautiful couple again!  I met them a couple years ago while they were on vacation, they weren't engaged yet but they told me they'd be back down to Florida to have a beach wedding one day.  And they did! :)  They had a beautiful, sunny beach ceremony at the Pink Shell Resort on Fort Myers Beach. Julia and Michael were the sweetest couple!  I so enjoyed getting to know Julia over the phone and was excited to finally meet her in person.  It was a destination wedding for them.  They had a lovely, intimate wedding with their close friends and family on Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa. I'm taking a brief intermission from editing to get this lovely couple's sneak peek up here... I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Jonas and Ada's wedding.  They came all the way from Norway to have a beautiful beach wedding here in Southwest Florida.  It was fun to see all their traditions with a little Florida feel to it!  I'm totally sold on visiting Norway now!  No surprise there though (must travel MORE!). We are currently enjoying PERFECT beach wedding weather here in Southwest Florida!  Tricia and Kris had their ceremony on the Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa with their reception immediately following in the Island Room. Here's a little sneak peek of Chris and Dana's wedding that took place at the Plantation Golf and Country Club.  Dana had expressed their desires for a fun day, a true celebration.  They opted for a First Look and saw each other before the ceremony. This wedding was so fun for me.  From my first conversation with Natalie, I was so thrilled with the emphasis she placed on her wedding photographs.  She wanted artistic wedding portraits and gave me free reign (yay!).  So as we planned out the day, we packed in plenty of time to cover all the stylish photos I had in mind.  Natalie and Walter were so easy to photograph, not only because they were so in love, but also because they were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed perfectly with ease. :) I love all the unique details Natalie included.  Her gorgeous engagement ring, a ruby...

Bright colors for a beach wedding = my favorite!  I love the color palette Virginia chose for her wedding, coral and teal...gorgeous!  Virginia and Jesse planned their destination wedding (for them!) to be at Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa on Fort Myer Beach.  Great location, great staff and as always a perfect sunset over the water! This was a special wedding for me to kick off my first wedding of 2014!  Our lovely friends, Carissa and John, got married last week at The Quarry in Naples, Florida.  Even though it ended up being a bit wet and rainy, it was still such a beautiful day.  They got married under the breezeway overlooking palm trees and water.  You have to love those fantastic Naples landscapes.
