Jianna + Matt | Engagement Portraits

This couple made my job easy! Not only are they so incredible sweet together, they look like Barbie and Ken, but they were super comfortable posing in front of the camera for their engagement shoot.

I photographed them last month when I was back in Florida. We covered a lot of grounds in the River District of Fort Myers, FL capturing their engagement pictures.  And we lucked out with some awesome natural lighting, thank you clouds! 🙂

It was hard to narrow down my favorites engagement photos to put up here, so warning..there’s a lot!

Congratulations, Jianna and Matt…looking forward to your wedding day! 🙂

Julia + Michael, a Sanibel Wedding

Julia and Michael were the sweetest couple!  I so enjoyed getting to know Julia over the phone and was excited to finally meet her in person.  It was a destination wedding for them.  They had a lovely, intimate wedding with their close friends and family on Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa.

So here is a little sneak peek of their wedding with more photos to come! 🙂

Ada + Jonas, a Wedding at Sanibel Harbour Resort

I’m taking a brief intermission from editing to get this lovely couple’s sneak peek up here…

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Jonas and Ada’s wedding.  They came all the way from Norway to have a beautiful beach wedding here in Southwest Florida.  It was fun to see all their traditions with a little Florida feel to it!  I’m totally sold on visiting Norway now!  No surprise there though (must travel MORE!).

Here’s a few of my favorites…

Christie + Randy | Fort Myers Wedding

I don’t think this couple could be any sweeter!  I thoroughly enjoyed spending the entire day with them all the while photographing each beautiful moment of their wedding.

Christie and Randy had a lovely ceremony at their local church, then headed to the River District (downtown Fort Myers) for their reception at Legacy Harbour.

Here’s a quick little sneak peek of their day….

Karly + Brandon, a wedding at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort

This was a beautiful and intimate wedding I photographed last week.  Karly and Brandon tied the knot on Cove Beach at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa.  And before they jumped onto the Sanibel Princess Cruise for their reception, we were able to go to some of my favorite spots on the property for some great bridal portraits!

Here’s just a sneak peek of their day….

Natalie + Walter, a wedding at Sanibel Harbour

This wedding was so fun for me.  From my first conversation with Natalie, I was so thrilled with the emphasis she placed on her wedding photographs.  She wanted artistic wedding portraits and gave me free reign (yay!).  So as we planned out the day, we packed in plenty of time to cover all the stylish photos I had in mind.  Natalie and Walter were so easy to photograph, not only because they were so in love, but also because they were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed perfectly with ease. 🙂

I love all the unique details Natalie included.  Her gorgeous engagement ring, a ruby with diamonds (swoon!), was a family heirloom from her husband’s side.  Her couture dress….seriously wow (so beautiful!).  And above all they planned their day to be a beautiful celebration with their close family and friends, an intimate group that boarded the Sanibel Princess Cruise for a sunset ceremony and dinner.  They continued the festivities with cake and drinks at Charley’s Cabana Bar.

Congratulation Natalie and Walter!  I wish you both all the best! 🙂

Carissa + John, a wedding in Naples, Florida

This was a special wedding for me to kick off my first wedding of 2014!  Our lovely friends, Carissa and John, got married last week at The Quarry in Naples, Florida.  Even though it ended up being a bit wet and rainy, it was still such a beautiful day.  They got married under the breezeway overlooking palm trees and water.  You have to love those fantastic Naples landscapes.

Congratulations Carissa and John, so excited for you two!

Courtney + Kyle, Ohio Winter Wedding

This wedding was super special for me…not only did I get to photograph my sister-in-law, Courtney’s wedding, but I also was honored to be one of her bridesmaids.  I have to add that it was a fun break from the beach, getting to photograph a wedding in Ohio in the winter time.  They tied the knot in a beautiful, quaint church in the middle of historic Milan.

Here’s a quick little sneak peek of their wedding…more to come soon.

Congratulations Courtney and Kyle, so excited for you both as you start your lives together!  Oh, and I hear Southwest Florida is a great place to honeymoon! 😉

Stefanie + Keith, Country Church and Veranda Restaurant

I’m soooo excited to finally get to share the images from Stefanie and Keith’s wedding.  I actually shot this wedding back in November, but since I got married that month and then there was the holidays and then life kept getting crazier…well, I just haven’t gotten it up!  This was such a unique wedding, it was an intimate affair that took place at a small country chapel in Alva.  The church happened to be next to the old Alva Library, now museum, which made for a great backdrop (especially since this couple loves books!).  After the beautiful ceremony, the reception took place at the Veranda Restaurant in downtown Fort Myers.  All the florals were done by Fort Myers Express Floral and they were gorgeous!  Congratulations Stefanie and Keith!!!
