Christmas is 89 days away! Which means I get to start decorating next month (yes, I decorate super early!!!). Which also means it is time to start thinking about your family portraits for the holidays!
I just took some photos of my niece with all the fall foliage out here in Wyoming and Montana...so if you want those beautiful fall colors in your family portraits, RIGHT NOW is a great time! If you want a snowy theme family photo, I have a feeling we only have to wait a week or two. ;) We can also do studio portraits if you want to keep it inside.
Having trouble figuring out what to wear? ...

It's crazy we are already in full swing for our 2015 senior graduates...wow, 2015! Time just keeps flying!
Caleb graduated last year and for his senior photos we did a little variety in our location. I love taking senior photos in a downtown/urban setting because of all the variety it provides...cool old and new buildings, pillars, water, colorful storefronts, etc. Then to end our shoot, we went back to my studio and took a few more. This first photo of him in his football jersey (B&W) is my favorite!
Enjoy these photos as you start getting some ideas for your own senior pictures! ...

I love photographing these little kiddos! These two sweet little sisters are always such a joy to photograph, they give me endless beautiful expressions and definitely keep me on my toes. We took all these baby portraits at my studio, using a few props I had on hand along with their super cute wardrobe.
I really enjoy being able to photograph each stage of a child's life...they change so much in a short amount of time. And while there is nothing like photographing children out in nature, I think it is just important to get some studio portraits taken too.
So get ready for some awwwing over...

So my husband and I have officially moved to northwest Wyoming! I've been out here about a month, getting us moved into our new place and getting the lay of the land. I must say, I'm in love. It's amazing to walk out my front door and be surrounded by mountains. A little different than Florida. ;)
(My husband and me in our front yard)
(Our dog Baylie isn't too excited about the scarf I made her wear, but despite that she does like it out here...my cat is another story)
I got a chance to announce it on my facebook page, but didn't get to blog anything on here. These past couple months...

I don't think this couple could be any sweeter! I thoroughly enjoyed spending the entire day with them all the while photographing each beautiful moment of their wedding.
Christie and Randy had a lovely ceremony at their local church, then headed to the River District (downtown Fort Myers) for their reception at Legacy Harbour.
Here's a quick little sneak peek of their day....
This last one has to be one of my favorites! <3
Congratulations Christie and Randy! Your day was absolutely beautiful and I loved being there to photograph it! More coming soon! ;)

This sweet little angel totally made my day! I had the opportunity to photograph this newborn at 8 days old (or should I say 8 days new?). And from putting on her first tutu throughout the entire shoot she was a the perfect model!
Typically with babies at this age, we plan to do all sleeping poses and those are usually my favorite, but....I think this one is my favorite. :)
See what I mean? Such a poser already! {swooning!}
This one cracks me up...so much tulle with those little, tiny baby feet!
Congratulations to Lavery's mommy and daddy! Your little girl is absolutely...

Here's a little sneak peek of Chris and Dana's wedding that took place at the Plantation Golf and Country Club. Dana had expressed their desires for a fun day, a true celebration. They opted for a First Look and saw each other before the ceremony.
I don't think this February day could have been any more beautiful with such an amazing couple, their bridal party and all their family and friends! And I absolutely love the backdrops The Plantation provides...
Congratulations Dana and Chris! All the best to you as you begin your lives together, cheers!

This was a special wedding for me to kick off my first wedding of 2014! Our lovely friends, Carissa and John, got married last week at The Quarry in Naples, Florida. Even though it ended up being a bit wet and rainy, it was still such a beautiful day. They got married under the breezeway overlooking palm trees and water. You have to love those fantastic Naples landscapes.
Congratulations Carissa and John, so excited for you two!
Here's a little sneak peek...
Just a little fun with this one...since they are both police officers ;)

I'm excited to show off these engagement portraits we took last month at Koreshan State Park in Estero. Love how they turned out! Beautiful day, beautiful location, and beautiful couple!
I've enjoyed getting to know Christie and Randy, how they met and especially loved their engagement story (which included an elaborate day long scavenger hunt, Christie's best friend flying down and of course a "yes"!). I'm positive their wedding day will be very special. Can't wait for their big day!

So maybe 6 years ago I photographed my friends, Chris and Kim, at the beach, just the two of them (first photo below). And here we are again, back at the beach plus two very adorable little girls! It's fun to see how much can change...even just looking back over this year. Speaking of, where on earth did 2013 go?!
Just before Christmas we headed out to Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island for a sunset photoshoot. These two little girls kept me laughing and having such a great time. While one little girl is much more dainty and delicate, not really interested in getting sandy, wet or dirty...the...
