This couple made my job easy! Not only are they so incredible sweet together, they look like Barbie and Ken, but they were super comfortable posing in front of the camera for their engagement shoot. I photographed them last month when I was back in Florida. We covered a lot of grounds in the River District of Fort Myers, FL capturing their engagement pictures.  And we lucked out with some awesome natural lighting, thank you clouds! :) It was hard to narrow down my favorites engagement photos to put up here, so warning..there's a lot! I was so excited to see this beautiful couple again!  I met them a couple years ago while they were on vacation, they weren't engaged yet but they told me they'd be back down to Florida to have a beach wedding one day.  And they did! :)  They had a beautiful, sunny beach ceremony at the Pink Shell Resort on Fort Myers Beach. Julia and Michael were the sweetest couple!  I so enjoyed getting to know Julia over the phone and was excited to finally meet her in person.  It was a destination wedding for them.  They had a lovely, intimate wedding with their close friends and family on Cove Beach at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa. I'm taking a brief intermission from editing to get this lovely couple's sneak peek up here... I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Jonas and Ada's wedding.  They came all the way from Norway to have a beautiful beach wedding here in Southwest Florida.  It was fun to see all their traditions with a little Florida feel to it!  I'm totally sold on visiting Norway now!  No surprise there though (must travel MORE!). This sweet little angel totally made my day!  I had the opportunity to photograph this newborn at 8 days old (or should I say 8 days new?).  And from putting on her first tutu throughout the entire shoot she was a the perfect model! Typically with babies at this age, we plan to do all sleeping poses and those are usually my favorite, but....I think this one is my favorite. :) See what I mean?  Such a poser already! {swooning!} This one cracks me up...so much tulle with those little, tiny baby feet! Here's a little sneak peek of Chris and Dana's wedding that took place at the Plantation Golf and Country Club.  Dana had expressed their desires for a fun day, a true celebration.  They opted for a First Look and saw each other before the ceremony. This wedding was so fun for me.  From my first conversation with Natalie, I was so thrilled with the emphasis she placed on her wedding photographs.  She wanted artistic wedding portraits and gave me free reign (yay!).  So as we planned out the day, we packed in plenty of time to cover all the stylish photos I had in mind.  Natalie and Walter were so easy to photograph, not only because they were so in love, but also because they were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed perfectly with ease. :) I love all the unique details Natalie included.  Her gorgeous engagement ring, a ruby...

I'm excited to show off these engagement portraits we took last month at Koreshan State Park in Estero.  Love how they turned out!  Beautiful day, beautiful location, and beautiful couple! I've enjoyed getting to know Christie and Randy, how they met and especially loved their engagement story (which included an elaborate day long scavenger hunt, Christie's best friend flying down and of course a "yes"!).  I'm positive their wedding day will be very special.  Can't wait for their big day!

So maybe 6 years ago I photographed my friends, Chris and Kim, at the beach, just the two of them (first photo below).  And here we are again, back at the beach plus two very adorable little girls!  It's fun to see how much can change...even just looking back over this year.  Speaking of, where on earth did 2013 go?! And the world welcomes Spencer! We did all of Spencer's newborn portraits here at my studio...what a gem!  She slept like a little angel while we swapped out tutus, hats, and bows. :)  Lily (big sister) is so proud of her baby sister and was generous with hugs and kisses for her.
