I can't believe we are already in October, what happened to the summer?! So now the craziness really begins...holidays are right around the corner! But as our schedules pick up, don't forget to get your family portraits taken. Those little kiddos change and grow so fast, you definitely want to capture those precious moments before they are off to college (in a blink!).
I got to photograph this beautiful family while they were out here on vacation/family visit. A special time too, since the kiddos were both celebrating birthdays (turning three and one). They were such a blast, the sweet...

Back to work! This sweet family was my first job back from maternity leave. I love photographing family photos here in Wyoming, endless beautiful landscapes for backdrops. We took these family pictures in Clark, Wyoming with the Beartooth mountain range in the background. LOVE!
It was a blast to photograph them too...they had some fun ideas (love the antique car, Royals theme, and puppy dogs!). So here are some of their favorites (as well as mine :) )!

As wedding season out here in the west is quickly approaching (despite the forecast of snow tonight!), I'm am looking forward to this beautiful couples big day in July. I loved being able to spend some time with them last summer and capture their engagement photos here in Clark, WY in the Clarks Fork Canyon. We lucked out with some perfect weather (little wind, yay!) and of course some gorgeous landscapes. But ultimately, it was this lovely couple that made the engagement pictures beautiful! :)
Here's a few of my favs...
Congratulations, T and J! Can't wait for your wedding...

This beautiful baby girl grew up in just a blink of an eye! I had so much fun looking back through our year of photo sessions (I definitely recommend capturing these 4 stages: newborn, 3-4 months, 6-8 months, and one year). We did a variety of locations, plenty of fun/adorable outfits, and added mom, dad, and sister into the portraits as well.
So here is a little sampling of each session starting with Harper's newborn portraits... <3

So....I haven't posted anything to my blog is 5 months, yikes! I'm definitely slacking on it and I have so many shoots I'm dying to get up here (and hopefully I will!).
I never announced on here or my photography facebook page that my husband and I are expecting out first child in just a few weeks, yay! We are super excited and have been busy the past few months getting ready for his (it's a boy!) arrival in March.
I thought I'd kick off my blog again with the maternity photos I attempted to take of us a couple weeks ago. I would definitely recommend you hire me to take them ;) and don't...

Caterina and John's wedding took place on the beautiful island of Captiva at 'Tween Waters Inn. There was a beautiful breeze coming off the gulf as this lovely Ohio couple recited their vows to each other in front of their friends and family. As clouds continued to roll in, we lucked out with only a drop of rain and ended up with some soft lighting and slightly cooler weather for a September wedding in Florida. Yay!
So, I had to finally break my silence on my blog (ah! haven't been on here much this summer!) and share a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day and show off this incredibly...

To say that this wedding was beautiful would be an understatement! The whole day was absolutely gorgeous...not to mention a lot of fun too! Plus, the icing on the cake for me was talking Nicole and Aaron into doing MORE pictures on another day. This worked out great (maybe not so much for Aaron, you know how much guys LOVE taking photos ;-) ), we were able to capture their entire wedding day with ease and get a lot of variety.
This country-ranch wedding took place on some beautiful property in Clark, WY with the Beartooth Mountain Range as our backdrop. LOVE! We also utilized Clarks Fork...

I'm loving going through the photos from this wedding! I'm super late on getting them a sneak peek, but I have finally pulled out a few of my favs to post on here. :)
Allison and Joe had their ceremony and reception at the elegant Colony Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. They had a courtyard ceremony, wedding portraits by the golf course and water, and reception and dancing inside the country club.
I must add - I absolutely love Allison's ring and her flowers (swooning!), gorgeous! Everything, really, from this wedding was beautiful. So here are a few wedding photos...

Last Friday, we hopped on a boat and headed to North Captiva Island, Florida for Lynn and Kirk's beach wedding. If you are looking for a private beach location for your wedding, North Captiva Island Club Resort definitely offers that! What a beautiful place for an tropical Florida wedding.
Lynn and Kirk couldn't have been any cuter of a couple, so sweet...the camera definitely loved them! They had a beach ceremony and beachside cocktail hour before heading to the Island Club for a poolside reception. We did sneak out of the reception to take their sunset portraits. We had a beautiful...
