I used to dread the editing and retouching part of photography. When I went to college for photography it was pretty much all film (yeah, I'm older than you think I am, haha!) so retouching in Photoshop wasn't a thing. However, over the years I have really begun to enjoy it. It's fun to see an already awesome shot and then make it better! This is something I recently added to my resume... retouching for other photographers (weddings, real estate, portraits, you name it!).
This shot is one that I took last weekend of my baby girl. I've been dying to try out this spot...I pass it a few times...

I can't gush about this wedding enough! Everything was absolutely gorgeous! I was so excited I got to travel back to Wyoming for this beautiful wedding day. It was at the UXU Ranch near Yellowstone/Cody Wyoming. There's nothing quite like a country ranch wedding.
So here is a little peek at a few photos with more to come. Congratulations to this happy couple!
Starting with one of my favorites... :)
And everyone got a chance to congratulate the newlyweds, even the horses ;)

I can't believe we are already in October, what happened to the summer?! So now the craziness really begins...holidays are right around the corner! But as our schedules pick up, don't forget to get your family portraits taken. Those little kiddos change and grow so fast, you definitely want to capture those precious moments before they are off to college (in a blink!).
I got to photograph this beautiful family while they were out here on vacation/family visit. A special time too, since the kiddos were both celebrating birthdays (turning three and one). They were such a blast, the sweet...

Caterina and John's wedding took place on the beautiful island of Captiva at 'Tween Waters Inn. There was a beautiful breeze coming off the gulf as this lovely Ohio couple recited their vows to each other in front of their friends and family. As clouds continued to roll in, we lucked out with only a drop of rain and ended up with some soft lighting and slightly cooler weather for a September wedding in Florida. Yay!
So, I had to finally break my silence on my blog (ah! haven't been on here much this summer!) and share a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day and show off this incredibly...

To say that this wedding was beautiful would be an understatement! The whole day was absolutely gorgeous...not to mention a lot of fun too! Plus, the icing on the cake for me was talking Nicole and Aaron into doing MORE pictures on another day. This worked out great (maybe not so much for Aaron, you know how much guys LOVE taking photos ;-) ), we were able to capture their entire wedding day with ease and get a lot of variety.
This country-ranch wedding took place on some beautiful property in Clark, WY with the Beartooth Mountain Range as our backdrop. LOVE! We also utilized Clarks Fork...

Last Friday, we hopped on a boat and headed to North Captiva Island, Florida for Lynn and Kirk's beach wedding. If you are looking for a private beach location for your wedding, North Captiva Island Club Resort definitely offers that! What a beautiful place for an tropical Florida wedding.
Lynn and Kirk couldn't have been any cuter of a couple, so sweet...the camera definitely loved them! They had a beach ceremony and beachside cocktail hour before heading to the Island Club for a poolside reception. We did sneak out of the reception to take their sunset portraits. We had a beautiful...

I'm just getting back to Wyoming from another trip to Florida and it is time to get this sneak peek up of this couple's wedding photography!
Emily and Quincy tied the knot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April, on the beach, at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa. This couple was so sweet together, I truly enjoyed photographing their outside wedding and working with them to create some great wedding photos.
And I really love Emily's color scheme...ORANGE! Perfect pop of color for a beach wedding. :)
Congratulations Emily and Quincy...more coming soon!

I just got back from Florida, photographing Jill and Craig's beach wedding at Sanibel Harbour. March weddings in Florida at the beach = perfection! :) LOVE this time of year! The icing on the cake for me was this super sweet couple. From day one they have been wonderful to work with and get to know. On their wedding day, they were so relaxed and went with the flow on everything, which in turn made their day nice (no stress! or at least I saw none! ;) ).
So here is a little sneak peek of their beach wedding day...enjoy!
Congratulations Jill and Craig! I enjoyed photographing your...

This little guy was absolutely adorable to photograph. It did take a little convincing, a lot of bribery, and a smidge of trickery (hee, hee) to get him to agree to taking some photos (wait a minute, my husband's the same way...hmmmm), but in the end I feel as though we both won. :) I got some cute kid portraits and he had a little fun (or at least I hope he did! haha).
The weather is a bit chilly right now in January here in Wyoming, so we did opt for the studio on this particular day. Thus, since we were in my studio, we had perfect lighting and the weather was ideal! ;-) (The benefit...

It's 2015 already! Christmas is over :( and I'm seeing not much point to the snow anymore, haha! But since it is here, I might as well stay warm inside and catch up on a little blogging.
I'll start with this girl, my niece, who I've been photographing for 10+ years now, who still loves to challenge me when it comes to taking her pictures! Haha...it has always been her idea vs. mine (she wins 90% of the time). :)
She was our first official visitor out here in Wyoming and she got to stay with us for a couple weeks. In addition to crafts, exploring, and four-wheeling, I talked her into doing...
