Here is some more senior awesomeness... :) This beautiful lady has already graduated but I never got the chance to put her senior photos on my blog and show her off!  I started photographing her 7 years ago (I think??) at a dance studio I do photography for in SWFL. We headed to a downtown area for her portraits...I think most downtown areas are great for seniors.  Plenty of options..brick, old gates, pretty trees, and so on! I always tell my high school seniors to bring whatever props they would like, dance shoes, car, basketball... Jessica brought family fun!  Of course, I have to add some...

I used to dread the editing and retouching part of photography.   When I went to college for photography it was pretty much all film (yeah, I'm older than you think I am, haha!) so retouching in Photoshop wasn't a thing.  However, over the years I have really begun to enjoy it.  It's fun to see an already awesome shot and then make it better!  This is something I recently added to my resume... retouching for other photographers (weddings, real estate, portraits, you name it!). This shot is one that I took last weekend of my baby girl.  I've been dying to try out this spot...I pass it a few times...

Well, whether we are ready or not, fall is around the corner.  Before yesterday, our area of Kentucky was in a drought.  I have noticed many of the trees turning colors and dying too early due to the dry weather!  Nooo...that's the best part of the fall is the fall foilage! Welcome August! It’s hard to believe it is time for Back to School. Although I must say, I’m not quite ready for summer to go…while it is hot, I have thoroughly enjoyed all the summer outside activities with my kiddos. Spring is just around the corner, and so is wedding season, my favorite!  I'm definitely ready for some beautiful green scenery and wedding bouquets. September here we come!  It is hard to believe school is back in session and fall is right around the corner.  The days are getting shorter, and while not a whole lot cooler yet here in Kentucky, I'm told that is coming (YES! I can't believe we are already in October, what happened to the summer?!  So now the craziness really begins...holidays are right around the corner!  But as our schedules pick up, don't forget to get your family portraits taken.  Those little kiddos change and grow so fast, you definitely want to capture those precious moments before they are off to college (in a blink!). Back to work!  This sweet family was my first job back from maternity leave.  I love photographing family photos here in Wyoming, endless beautiful landscapes for backdrops.  We took these family pictures in Clark, Wyoming with the Beartooth mountain range in the background.  LOVE! It was a blast to photograph them too...they had some fun ideas (love the antique car, Royals theme, and puppy dogs!).  So here are some of their favorites (as well as mine :) )!
