Christmas is 89 days away! Which means I get to start decorating next month (yes, I decorate super early!!!). Which also means it is time to start thinking about your family portraits for the holidays!
I just took some photos of my niece with all the fall foliage out here in Wyoming and Montana...so if you want those beautiful fall colors in your family portraits, RIGHT NOW is a great time! If you want a snowy theme family photo, I have a feeling we only have to wait a week or two. ;) We can also do studio portraits if you want to keep it inside.
Having trouble figuring out what to wear? ...

Here is a little series of portraits from my last three sessions with this lovely family. We started out with a Christmas maternity session at Koreshan State Park. A couple months later I got a few quick shots at the hospital after Baby Girl #2 was born! A week after that, beautiful baby Elise came in for her portraits and then when she was two months we got the whole family together (or at least at my studio at the same time :) ).
I absolutely love seeing families grow...just six years ago we were taking their engagement portraits and here they are now with two gorgeous girls. Congratulations...

So my beautiful friend, Leann who I've known since high school (which was just a few years ago, or so...yikes!) is getting married...to Jeremy, who she met in high school! YAY! I'm so pumped for this wedding, they are such a sweet couple!
We headed to Koreshan State Park to take their engagement and family photos with Jeremy's two adorable kiddos. :) The only instructions I was given before our session began was from Leann who said she would NOT do any "Baywatch Running" photos. So that dates back to another mutual friend's wedding when I made the bridal party do the "Baywatch Run" for (what...

We took a little break from beach sessions to capture Amanda and Anthony's engagement portraits in downtown Fort Myers. I just love how versatile the River District can be. And this smoking hot couple was a blast to work with...so photogenic and easy-going!
Congratulations Amanda and Anthony...your upcoming wedding(s) are going to be amazing, I'm positive of that. :) Cheers!

And once again...I'm a little late on posting these portraits. :-/ I enjoyed meeting this family very much. Both the parents work in creative fields which made it really fun knowing they had a creative eye too. In fact, Gretchen is an amazing painter..check her out: http://www.pawpalettes.com/home .
As I was looking through these I realized one of the locations is no more. The new restaurant, Firestone, has painted the brick wall. Crazy how downtown Fort Myers keeps changing, but it really looks great!

I was able to go visit my dear college friend up in North Carolina last month and meet her 9 month old baby boy for the first time. It was so fun, he was such a little ham!
So as much as I love Florida and the beaches, I have to say the state of NC is quite lovely! I really enjoyed my time up there and was able to take their family portraits in their own backyard. Yes, I know what you are thinking, you'd like to rent out their backyard for your family portraits...well that can be arranged! Haha :)
And to the 'S' family...love and miss you all!
Love baby feet!!!!

Here's Rachel and Willie...or should I say Barbie and Ken? Such a beautiful couple, we had so much fun in downtown Fort Myers capturing these images. I loved the props Rachel brought too...since her husband is a baseball player it seemed appropriate to include some baseball gloves and ball. And the frame with there special dates...I love this idea whether you include it in a photo or not! She told me she saw the idea on Pinterest. Mind you I have been holding out for a long time on not joining Pinterest only because everyone tells me that they spend hours on there...I don't have hours to do that! ...

Alison Beyer Photography has been photographing our family since 2003. She has been there for our engagement, family, personal and wedding photos and has done an AMAZING job on every event!
When our family and friends saw our photo's she quickly became the family photographer and has photographed all their special events, in Fort Myers!
We continue to use Alison Beyer Photography because of her unique and creative eye. Her photos have an edge to them, similar to what you see in a fashion magazine.
We are so lucky to have found a photographer that understands our need for stylish photos. ...
